Before your Pilates class
What do I need for my class? You just need a Pilates mat ! I recommend a mat thick enough for your comfort, more than a centimeter thick. You can practice in any comfortable outfit, the important thing is that you feel confortable.
How many sessions do i need weekly to see some results? There is no quick answer because everyone is different, with a different metabolism and different expectations. But overall to achieve the results you want you have to be regular and consistent in your practice. To progress, I recommend at minimum of one class per week.
Does Pilates make you lose weight? This is not the main purpose of Pilates but with regular practice, you might lose weight doing Pilates but you will surely strengthen and lenghtens your muscles wich will make you look fit and stong and with pratice obtain the flat stomach effect !
The muscles will firm up so will the appearance of your skin. Session after session, your silhouette will become slimer.
I have an injury, can I practice Pilates? You should first seek the advice of your doctor.
