Who am i ?
My name is Julie, i am a professional sport educator specialised in Pilates, Yoga and floor barre.
I am a keen praticioner of various sports since my early childhood. Ballet, tennis, aerial hoops and hammock, trapeze, skiing, cycling, running, swimming are some of the many activities i still pratice.
Pilates and yoga have been part of my daily activities for a very long time. I considered them to be an essential part of my well being and in helping me staying as strong as ever well in my forties.
Pilates
I discovered Pilates around twenty years ago, in Ireland, where I lived a big part of my life.
I immediately became addicted to this safe and effective discipline. I found the rigor and placements of ballet associated with particularly interesting deep muscle strengthening exercises to prevent and cure many everyday ailments and develop fine and strong muscles. I have since continued to practice regularly.
Yoga
I only discovered yoga much later, wrongly thinking that yoga was not suited to the hyperactive that I am. I had to acquire the necessary maturity to finally understand the depth, the benefits of yoga and its relevance in the daily life of everyone, athletes and non-athletes, sedentary workers, elderly people ! It helps me working on my breathing, flexibility, joint mobility and stress ! After deepening my Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga practices, I more recently developed a passion for aerial yoga all aerial disciplines that I continue to explore.
Barre
I higly recommand incorporating floor barre exercises in anyone fitness routine as a graceful and highly effective complementary alternative to Pilates and yoga.
